Just wondering
Are any families actually in Vietnam right now for their G&R? Has anyone received their I-600 approval? Just wondering what the process is like now. My agency has yet to actually submit an I-600, from what I understand (and I’m well behind others in terms of waiting). I know a few have been filed by other agencies, but I was wondering where people stand (anyone actually been approved yet? how long is it taking agencies to accumulate the required docs, etc.?).

Where I’ve Been
I stumbled onto a blog today (via blog search – vietnam adoption)for a family that arrived on November 24th for a G&R for an older (5ish) child.
I believe my agency is probably considered medium-sized. We don’t have any families traveling right now. We have (those with referrals) filed our 1-600′s and received confirmation that they are being worked and that (again) it may take up to 60 days to process them. It appears they are grouping them by agency. (Atleast that is what I’ve heard and it seems to hold true with my agency.)
